After 3 years of not going to Milwaukee, this summer Maya, Noa and I went for 6 weeks and Satcha went for 2 weeks.
While we were there, we went on a road trip to Niagara Falls. We drove from Milwaukee to Buffalo, NY, which took around 12 hours (10-hour drive plus rest stops).
The first day we did a FULL Niagara Falls visit. We started on the USA side: walking around Niagara Falls National Park, going to the Cave of the Winds (and getting soaked), seeing all the Falls from above and going on the Maid of the Mist boat ride. 
Then, we walked across the Rainbow Bridge to go to the Canada side where we just walked looking at the Falls with the panoramic views from Canada. We walked back to the USA side and waited until dark to see the Falls light show at night. It was a long, day, but definitely worth it. The Niagara Falls are beautiful and just an incredible site to see.
On the second day we drove to the Canada side and did the Behind the Falls tour. This was really fun to walk in the tunnels behind the falls and see them from that viewpoint. When we were done visiting the Falls, went back to the house for a little bit and then when out to a nice seafood restaurant on the river, River Grill, and had a fun "Team Benitez Hecht" family dinner.
On the drive back to Milwaukee, we spent a night in Gurnee, IL and went to Six Flags. We spent a whole day in Six Flags, and it was so fun. Maya went on her first "big roller coasters": X-Flight, Goliath, Batman, American Eagle, Viper, Demon, Raging Bull, Superman and Giant Drop. She loved all of them!!! She took turns going on with Satcha or with me. Noa also when on her first "big roller coasters": the Little Dipper, Whizzer, Condor and the Chubasco teacups. She was hesitant at first, but when she got off all of them, she was happy!!!
