Riding in a tuk-tuk WHAT A GREAT TRIP!!!!! I had so much fun in Thailand.
Thailand is a very pretty and easy country to travel, especially with kids. Everything went "as planned" and it seemed like Maya and Noa had fun, too. Before leaving for the trip, I had planned lots of activities and tours that I hoped where going to please all of us. And, they did!

Wat Phan TaoIn Chiang Mai we did temple visits, saw the city and did a food tour. I especially liked Wat Phan Tao with it's colorful ribbons and lanters lit up at night. The Sticky Waterfall was really different and fun. I was a little nervous while we were there, thinking one of us was going to slip and really hurt ourselves, but we all had a blast without getting hurt!

Elephant Rescue ParkOne of the highlights was going to the Elephant Rescue Park and doing the full day program. It was interesting being so close to the elephants, and it was amazing seeing how Maya interacted with them. She jumped right in feeding them, touching them, walking with them and even bathing with them. It was also great to see how Noa did with the elephants. She was definitly hesitante durning the day with the elephants. She didn't want to be near them and made sure she was far enough away to enjoy. But, at the end of the day, she got up the courage to touch one of them. She was so proud of herself. It was a really fun experience.

Reclining BuddahIn Bangkok we stayed in the Khao San Road area which was such chaos, but fun. We stayed around the area for dinner time and after, so it was ok to see the action early in the night. We did a family cooking classs, rode in tuk-tuks and saw the highlights: Chinatown, flower market, Grand Palace, Emerald Buddah, Wat Pho and the Golden mount. We also took a long-tail boat through the canals.

Kata Noi, PhuketPhuket was great...white sand beach, beautiful turquoise sea, luxury hotel with pools and a very fun kids club. And, on this trip Satcha and I went scuba diving (together!) while Maya and Noa snorkeled. It was nice to end the trip here, relaxing!!!

Now that Maya and Noa are older, it felt like traveling was a lot easier and we all had fun. I had the most wonderful time on this trip, and have such great memories that I can't wait for our next trip and adventure!!!
